Stephen is one of the world’s foremost educators of professional hairdressers. Hailing from a family of hairdressers he is a 31-plus-year veteran of the Sassoon Salon and Academy organization. With exception of antarctica Stephen has shared haircutting education with professional hairdressers on every continent.
Stephen was awarded the prestigious Intercoiffure Hair Cutting Icon Award in NYC and more recently by Intercoiffure Mondial in Paris, France with the Knight Award in recognition of his contributions to haircutting education. Stephen became a NAHA (North American Hairstylist Awards) finalist as Educator of the Year and went on to win Haircutter of the Year in 2021. Stephen is a finalist in NAHA 2024 in the category of Haircutter of the Year.
A haircutter and career educator, Stephen says, “In developing scissors I had the concept of “One Pair for all Hair”. Scissors that speak to craft-oriented hair that is primarily shoulders and above.
